Christmas Special Menu with Sarah Todd

Sarah Todd needs no introducing to the culinary scene. With 2 very successful restaurants to her credit-Antares in Goa and The Wine Rack at Lower Parel, Mumbai, she was in Bangalore last weekend to introduce her Christmas Special Menu in association with Chai Point available via order through Swiggy.

It was an honour to be part of this exclusive event with the food aficionados of Bangalore. Held at Indiranagar 12th Main outlet of Chai point, Sarah took us through her brief journey and how healthy eating became an inspiration behind her culinary career. She mentioned that Indian Cuisine has always held a special place in her heart and the dishes she curated are all essentially an extension of her love for it with a French twist from her days in Le Cordon Bleu.

These Christmas Specials, available throughout the month at all Chai Point outlets across Bangalore are small bites which can be well accompanied with a hot cuppa. The first in line was the Chicken Keema Samosa served with Beetroot, Cranberry, and Caper Chutney to add that spicy tinge to the dish. The Mumbai Vada Pav is another favourite topped with Cranberry and Beetroot Chutney with the Paneer Rogan Josh Poi completing the Vegetarian version of her signature favourites.

The Chicken Rogan Josh Poi was an absolute burst of flavours in my mouth and delectable is just not the word. For sweet endings, the Mango and Coconut Tart and Sticky Caramel Coffee Pudding can give any popular Christmas desserts a run for its money. As we tasted these signature creations, It was time for photo opportunities with the very jovial Sarah and apron-signing for all attendees at the venue.

A big thanks to Chai Point for giving me the opportunity to be part of such an exclusive event. I am looking forward to order all of these signatures via Swiggy in case I am far from any nearby Chai Point outlet.
