T20 Bowl Fest with The Bowl Company

The concept of a one bowl meal is garnering huge popularity in India, especially with the introduction of various International brands entering the fast food market with their unique offerings in the genre. But it is courtesy the good old folks at The Bowl Company that even Indian delicacies like Butter Chicken and Aloor Dum are packaged in a one bowl format and conveniently delivered to the comfort of your doorstep right here in Bangalore.

With KKR and CSK battling it out tonight, it was customary for me to order these two very different tasting dishes along with a few others from their regular offerings

The Korbo Lorbo Aloor Dum named after the slogan for the KKR team-Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo is meant for a sweet palette and does not really remind one of its Bengali roots, a much hotter version of the same. However, the Chennai Express Chicken Vada Curry is quite a unique combination and is definitely a big winner keeping in mind the regional tastes of Chettinadu cuisine.

From their Hall of Fame bowl of meals, we had the Korean Prawn Curry with Rice and it was quite authentic to its Asian roots. The Fruit Bowl was our final embellishment which comprised of various fresh cut exotic fruits perfect for the health conscious.

No meal is complete without desserts and we had the Angoori Rasamalai and Kesariya Rasamalai to satiate our sweet cravings. Between the two, the Angoori Rasamalai was my personal favourite.
