Grover's Insignia Launch @ Grover's Zampa Vineyards, Nandi Hills

The launch of the Limited Edition Grover’s Insignia Estate Bottled Wine last Saturday was not only a star-studded affair, but also an important date in the social calendar of Namma Bengaluru. Strategically chosen a day before the dry Sunday, the event witnessed the crème de la crème of the society show up for this once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a taste of this exquisite beauty.

The tour of the winery by none other than the proprietor of the Grover’s Zampa Vineyards-Karishma along with Sumedh, the CEO was the highlight of the event. As we got to witness live bottling of their Rose for the French market, we also tasted a few of their select varieties including the highly coveted Vijay Amritraj selects directly from the barrel. The trip to the barrel room was a first for me and was a heart-stopping moment to say the least. This was followed by the tasting of the Insignia and the opportunity to purchase from their in-house outlet along with other offerings. The Guests sipped some fine Brut and Rose along with the others from the house of Grover’s Zampa along with lip-smacking Barbeque Grills and freshly-prepared Pasta. A live band with their eclectic mix of Electro Jazz kept the crowd entertained and formed the perfect embellishment for a lazy Saturday afternoon.
