A night at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad
Being a luxury Travel Blogger, it is imperative that my bucket list is ever increasing with new venues opening up every passing day. Park Hyatt, Hyderabad was one such destination that I was eyeing for quite a while now.
It was quite an abrupt decision to book a night at this uber-chic address in the very upmarket Banjara Hills of Hyderabad. I heard great things about Park Hyatt- Chennai and Goa but had no idea about Hyderabad earlier. I stepped in to the hotel with an open mind anticipating the same world class service that Hyatt Group of Hotels is known for.
I was awestruck by the sheer magnificence of this modern day charisma of pristine architecture. With barely just a line of branding on its walls of this very corporate looking building from outside, the lobby is sure to set even the most travelled visitor to sheer frenzy. The opulence of the light and shade used along with its unique blend of colonial and contemporary chic reflect gracefully along every inch of this property.
As the welcoming staff finished my check-in formalities, I proceeded towards my suite in the second level and was quite impressed by its sights and sounds. The corridors could be a bit more directional and their monochrome might mislead a first time visitor for a while.
I was accommodated in the very upmarket Park King Suite which is more than yielding for the average business traveller. I was very impressed with its décor and the Indian art on my walls reflecting an aura of modern amenities blended with traditional values. Every detail was attended to and there was a name card identifying the housekeeping staff who took special care to get my suite ready for occupancy.
The bedroom was spacious and extremely comfortable. I was impressed with the full walk-in closet and the mini closet as well for use, just in case. The bathroom was even prettier and spacious than that of the living area which I find a big plus for a luxurious property like Park Hyatt. All my toiletries were neatly arranged and the shower area equipped with a no-slip bath mat to add to my experience. The WC in the lavatory was a unique experience with a separate seat for washing in case toilet paper is not your thing. This was my first experience with amenities like this and I was quite excited to say the least. The in-room temperature was just perfect and the minibar was well-stocked. There was ample amount of water bottles placed within various corners of my suite. I was quite happy with my city view and did not feel like leaving the hotel at night. I called my friends over and spent the entire evening within the four walls of this surreal property.
The Hotel has a 24 hour dine-in coffee shop at the Lobby Level and 2 speciality restaurants-Asian and Italian at its Mezzanine floor-The Oriental Kitchen and the Tre Forni Bar and Kitchen. There is also The Living Room, a premier destination for fresh brews in the city located within the premises.
With rates starting at a very comprehensive 8000 INR +GST, Park Hyatt is definitely one of the best options in the CBD of Hyderabad for a short or extended stay.
