The Jungle Book (2016) Review

There has been a few versions of this classic from Rudyard Kipling shot before, but none of them quite match up to this one in particular. The ground-breaking Digital 3D effects, the simplicity of Mowgli's character and the underlying message of fraternity and humanity expressed through the actions of 9 year old boy for his mates adds to the overall appeal of the film.

The voices of Bill Murray, Lupita Nyogo and Ben Kinglsey fit the right context and add to the emotion of the film expressed subtly through the inhabitants of a deep Indian forest. There are scenes in the film that make you laugh and cry at the same time. The special effects add to the overall package of the film and Neel Sethi as Mowgli is the ideal pre-teen that every family needs. A must watch for everyone-Young and Old, and that coming from someone who does not prefer watching children's films. The underlying message is not to be missed and is something very relevant to the world of today. A must watch in Imax for the best of experiences!!!
